Day 240

Beach day!! We went to the beach this afternoon-- it was so super hot outside, Papa wanted to swim. So, we packed up a million things and headed out! It was fun, for the first time since we brought Penelope home from the hospital (no offense, baby girl, we love you more than we can express!!!) But truly, we had fun-- P & Daddy went in the water and then played in the sand, and Lulu & I played on a blanket under the umbrella. P is old enough that she is playing with her shovel & pail, and knows not to run off (rather, she comes back when she runs off, after we yell for her). Also, Lu was content to sit with her toys for a good hour. Beach success!!! :) Drawback: the 800 stairs & looooong, windy path we had to climb to go back up to the car. :/ What are you gonna do, it can't all be perfect!
